How to start using SignMatic
SignMatic is a local system running on a computer, server or other premises equipment,
and most typically also directly connects to at least some display devices, used to
present the contents distributed.
You can also use SignMatic as a shared platform, where the master installation acts as a
supervisor for all connected second-stage installations inside your network.
A single instance can handle up to 256 displays simultaneously, on most graphics systems,
the number of displays however is limited to 16 screens.
Requirements
General System Requirements
SignMatic requires a x86-64 based computer that has a recent version of
Microsoft(R) Windows(TM) oeprating system installed.
- Dedicated Graphics Card (for best Experience) and multi-display support
- Microsoft(R) Windows(TM) 7,8,8.1,10
- 4 Gbytes of RAM
- 8 Gbytes of free Disk Space
- More free Disk space when installing applications
- Local Network connection
- Internet Connection (depending on your version of SignMatic, license and other factors)
- a additional Device (Computer, Smartphone) in the Same network for controlling
Remote Administration
When your SignMatic has no desktop controls available (like in most scenarios),
it is recommended to install a system-level remote desktop service like TightVNC
because applications for SignMatic can only be installed using desktop UAC access.
The default startup of SignMatic remote control does not allow to control UAC
components, or any window handles that have been started with another security context.
